Well,

• we didn't get the residency. Didn't even get an interview, but we aren't really ready yet.

There's a lot of competition from companies that have a track record of venue based puppet shows to prove their worth!

• Work continues on '50 footer'....watch this space for some work in progress shots of the puppets.
• Have been to 3 or 4 puppet shows in the last few weeks .The best being 'Alice in Wonderland' at The little Angel theatre in London( a theatre dedicated to puppetry).The others however all had one thing in common that I found to detract greatly from the show and that was SHIT LIGHTING! Atmosphere is all well and good but if I can't see the puppets faces I lose interest.....lesson learnt!
